JC 01 Essence Black
The JC 01 is a clean overshirt in Traveller Weave, our wrinkle-resistant performance cloth. It layers over a tee or a knit and sits between a shirt and a jacket: sharp enough for the office, easy enough for the weekend. Hidden side pockets, a clean collar, and a little stretch that moves with you and holds the line through a long day. The fabric is the part buyers praise most.
Traveller Weave is 67% polyester, 29% viscose and 4% elastane. The viscose gives it a soft, dry hand and a matt finish; the polyester frame keeps it structured and drying fast; the elastane adds stretch and shape recovery. It resists creasing, so it goes from a bag to a meeting, and washes at home at 30°.
Fit: true to size, with room to layer over a tee. Between sizes, size down for a sharper line. Wear it open over a T-shirt with chinos, or closed with the matching TP 02 trousers as the Essence Suit. Designed in our Dutch studio; made in Portugal, Turkey or China, chosen per piece for the make.
